Kim Jones x Converse: The Classic Chuck 70 Sneakers Reimagined

The reworked Converse Chuck 70 by Kim Jones and the Converse design team is inspired by streetwear and sportswear of years past. Experimenting with the brand's distinctive lines, this collaboration elongates and curves the rubber soles to create an illusion of elevation. Minimalist and straightforward, the classic shoe is also elevated with a transparent TPU outsole with speed lace eyelets. 

"The design approach for the shoe was very straight forward—taking a very classic shoe and then almost encasing it in something to protect it," says Jones.⁣

He also completes the collection with four garments: a parka, crewneck sweatshirt, cargo pant and T-shirt. Minimalist and channelling '90s utility vibes, they perfectly complement the reworked Chucks.
