The celebration unfolded alongside a thoughtfully curated four-course meal. Guests began with appetisers including Hokkaido scallop tartare and Japanese yellow corn soup. The main courses offered options of A4 Miyazaki striploin, seared halibut fillet, and Acquerello risotto and Japanese tomato. Each course was accompanied by selected wines and signature cocktails, adding to the event’s sensory appeal.

As the dinner progressed, Rabeea Yeung, the evening’s host, invited Sebastian Paredes, Head of North Asia and CEO of DBS Bank Hong Kong, to share a few words about the DBS UnionPay Diamond Debit Card, which is the first of its kind in the world. The premiere of the launch video gave guests a glimpse into the card’s capabilities, showcasing how it can support a modern lifestyle on the go.
