To mark the changing of its dean, the Consular Corps of the Philippines holds its traditional year-end ball. Chaired by Fortune Ledesma, this year’s Ball was attended by 600 guests who dressed in their finest, enjoyed the special dinner prepared by Makati Shangri-La, and danced the night away. Installed was the new dean of the CCP, Tetsuro Amano, minister, deputy chief of mission and consul general of Japan, who took over from George Yang, honorary consul general of Eritrea. More than 60 prizes—from airline tickets and resort stays to jewellery and high-end watches—were raffled off.
