1/10 Take in the magestic view of the Banaue Rice Terraces
Street signs won't be the first thing to welcome you in Banaue. Rather, it will be the picturesque Rice Terraces. This “eighth wonder of the world” surely deserves its worldwide recognition. According to locals, ancient Igorots built the rice terraces over 2,000-3,000 years ago, and till now, it is still being used by the farmers in the area. Mindblowing, isn't it? The unparalleled beauty of this creation will leave you speechless.
2/10 Wake up at Banaue Hotel
Perfectly located at the heart of the lush Banaue Rice Terraces, the stunning view of the landscape will be the first thing to greet you in the morning. The hotel’s wood panels and warm carpeting complements the earthy-feel of the highlands.

3/10 Take a dip in the Banaue Hotel pool
Soaking in the pool with the sun’s warmth draping all over your body already sounds amazing, but with the view of the rice terraces added in to the mix, it becomes an otherwordly experience.
4/10 Meet the Ifugao weavers in Tam-An village
Aside from CAR’s scenic view, the region also prides in its vibrant weaves and handicrafts made by the locals. Some of which can be bought in Tam-An village, just a 10-minute hike down from the hotel.
5/10 Dance with the locals
With their colourful ethnic attires, festive percussion music, and warm invitations, who could ever resist joining their electric Igorot dance?

Beautiful sights don't run out in this place, with the stunning terraces meeting you from left to right. Put on your best music playlist too, so you can jam with your friends along the way!
6/10 Go spelunking in the Sumaguing cave
If you’re looking for a dash of excitement and a source of good stories to tell after the trip, make sure to take on the three-level journey inside Sumaguing Cave. Crossing the entire cave back and forth is a challenging task to say the least, but the thrill of clinging onto ropes and slippery rocks will surely give you the adventure you’re longing for. Not to mention the mystical and fetching stalagmite and stalactite formations that makes for a delightful sight!
7/10 Spend a night at the Agape Log Cabins
A trip to Sagada couldn’t be complete without a cabin overnight stay. One of the best there is is the Agape Log Cabins, located just a few minutes away from the Sumaguing cave. Aside from the place's comfy ambiance, the enchanting view of the night sky filled with dozens of twinkling stars will make you dream of staying in this province forever.
8/10 Watch the sunrise at Mount Pulag
In case you're still looking to break some sweat, go hike Mount Pulag in Benguet. The magnificent sunrise view this peak offers will leave you in absolute awe. If you're lucky enough, you might also be able to catch the sea of clouds enveloping the mountain's crest.
9/10 Munch on strawberries at Baguio city’s strawberry farm
On the way home, make sure to stop at Baguio city. This city is just filled with delectable strawberry products, there's absolutely no running out of it!
10/10 Pile on the veggies
Along the countless strawberry plantations in the Cordilleria Region are vegetable farms. Don't forget to take home some of the freshly-picked greens, for these gems will be your new salad buddies!
